FlashGram! Speed Fab-Crete Builds another Addition for Autobahn Motorcars
Speed Fab-Crete built and remodeled the new service drive facility and writers area for Autobahn Motorcar Group's Land Rover dealership in Fort Worth, Texas.
Speed Fab-Crete has completed almost 300,000 square feet of new building and remodeling for the dealership, which is continually remodeling and improving its multi-brand complex synonymous with Fort Worth's changing skyline.
"We wanted to continue our relationship with Speed Fab-Crete based on our customer's overwhelming positive reactions to the new BMW service drive, which the company completed in 2004," said Chad Chase, Vice President of Autobahn Motorcar Group.
Speed Fab-Crete added on to double the size of the current service writer area in order to speed up the process of service; increased the parts area in order to carry a larger supply of products; and implemented an all-weather, covered service drive in which Land Rover customer service representatives can quickly meet-and-greet customers. The construction project was completed in December 2005.
"This project is a state-of-the-art facility that we are certain our customers have appreciated," said Mitch Hanzik, Vice President of Sales for Speed Fab-Crete.
The project designer was Callahan and Freeman Architects, who have teamed with Speed Fab-Crete in the design and construction of more than 20 area dealerships.

Autobahn Volkswagen Dealership, Fort Worth, Texas
The latest project for Autobahn Motorcars was renovation of an existing 40,000-square-foot building in the dealer's multi-brand complex.
With another 37,000-square-feet of covered inventory storage on the second floor of the building, the facility becomes the largest Volkswagen dealership in the United States.
The old Volkswagen building is to be converted into the largest certified pre-owned BMW dealership in the U.S.
The new quarters contain a circular-shaped showroom with a porcelain tile floor, a 38-bay service center, a parts department and general offices.
The project is the eighth contract with Speed Fab-Crete serving as general contractors for Autobahn Motorcars. The new construction or remodeling by Speed Fab-Crete for the expanding dealership totals more than 219,000-square-feet since 1996.

Autobahn Porsche
Speed Fab-Crete completed a new Autobahn Porsche dealership in 2003 for Autobahn Motorcars in Fort Worth, Texas. The 15,000-square-foot building embodies the latest "branding image" of the Porsche automaker.
